I think this is just the sort of thing not to install on your PC. Amateurish, unaccredited "utilities" are often poorly constructed and inadequately de-bugged, and can cause conflicts which screw other things up. We all need to protect against viruses and malware, but it's best to stick to the tried and tested. I now operate the policy with any software that if I don't really need it then I don't install it.
