You do a great job, but bandwidth and space is always going to be a problem, instead of keeping everything on your own server could it be decentralised to allow logs to be saved on to our own servers? Maybe a PHP script or perl could do this, It would take some stress of the ccentral server, and allow us to keep logs upto whatever size we want.

Just a backup log button that saves the log to a text file would be nice maybe?

Nice idea. But the whole idea behind StatCounter is to make it so EASY for the webmaster to track the visitors to their websites.

We redesigned the entire architecture of the system so we could scale to handle all the bandwidth and log sizes that members will want.

And we'll be able to do it at a very good price as well.
