www.browsercam.com
Has anyone tried this?
You can get a free trial
One way to check your website for compatabilty on all counts!
I have yet to check it out but it sounds good
Ok - you have to pay for ongoing but I have not come across something like this that tests for different OS, resolution, etc.
How many web people have access to test for all accessibility?
Worth checking out !
Let me know your comments
Ta!

:o
Gosh, thought someone (including webmaster) might have taken a look at this.
I am interested if anyone has tried it and their comments!
Hi Judy
have just tried it. Certainly a useful tool especially if your not that experienced in this webmastery lark. Gives you confidence knowing that the pages you build are viewable by all...and if not you know what would need to be changed.
Thanks for that
Ian
Great tip ... Thanks for that.
I tried it out a little bit tongue in cheek, but even the Free trial has shown me that the Watermark Graphic on my homepage does not show up when viewed with Netscape or Mozilla. For a techno-dummy like me, this is a great facility.
A word of warning though to anyone like me who is using SC's free service. I ran BrowserCam through all 16 pages of my site, in two resolutions, and for 3 browsers. That's 96 screen shots. It didn't occur to me that each one would be an entry in my Statistics log ..... so I used up my 100 log entries in one go
Worth it though
Thanks again

Thanks for the replies
I fel confident now of passing it on :)
Glad it helped you
Guess you could disable counting yourself (re ST)when you do the tests?

OOps
Ok sorry for perhaps stating the obvious
Sorry don't know how to overcome it then
But at least it helped----eh!
I'm a newbie so if I come across something that might help others, I try to save them some time because I know how long it takes just to research something you don't know about
No problem - just letting everybody else know something I should have thought of myself. It's all we newbie's can do .... share our discoveries and help out where we can .... right?
