Two different totals

Sorry, new to this and maybe missing something

If I put Stat Counter code in every single page in my website, the pageload total would show a lot of "hits" even if only one person has visited the website.

In the other hand, if I place the code only in the main entrance page, I would miss how many pages has each visitor visited.

so set your counter to display the unique visitor count.

But I don't see a problem with displaying a count of all the pageloads on all your pages either.

the problem is that in "Visitor" stats I would get tons of detailed info about each visitor that make me loose the overall view.

I do like that detailed info, but would like to have the "global" Visitor view.

Maybe I'm messing but english is not my mother language

You'd need to increase your log size to get a complete overall view, this is simply not sustainable with a free service.
