Currently, there are 5 font styles, from 'small' to 'stylish'. I noticed that it typically takes <1 sec for the SC server to send over a small PNG graphic file (<200byte). Sometimes it may take 2 sec.
For someone who values fast page display over stylish display, is it possible to go back to basics to add a 'plain text' style?
Advantages:
1. by removing the SC server overhead of having to compile a graphic every time it receives a hit, the delivery of the 'real substance' (the numbers) should theoretically be much faster (ideally, <0.5sec for 99.9% of the time).
2. my page (in Chinese) happens to use a font that is not of the same typographic family as the 5 styles. So, if SC can send plain text over, I can make the counter text blend in perfectly into my page.
