Compressing HTML

I’ve activated your counter on the web site of my school and all the pages are “compressed” by a HTML compressor, i.e.

- all lines are merged in a single line,
- all unnecessary whitespace characters are removed and
- all HTML comments are removed.

Can I compress the counter code in the same way too ?
