Hi everyone. I'm new here and as well as an admin on three forums. On one of the forums, we have an infiltration problem.

I was wondering if there is a way to track and/ ban a user that uses proxies? Banning a user name(s) is ineffective at this point. Has anyone else experienced this problem? What can be done?

In advance, thanks for your help!

Also, if anyone is interested, my forum (http://www.nolajbs.net/forum) deals with the new world order. Feel free to drop by. And again, thanks for your help. :)

Only way you may be able to do that is to obtain the IP address of the proxy servers and ban them. If you are talking about visitors using an anonymizer service then you need to find the relevant sites where they come from, do a trace to get the IP address. If you use Neo Trace Express it will put an icon on your toolbar which will allow you to trace the address of any site you visit.

Hope this helps. Not done it myself, so I hope I'm not talking a load of twaddle :)
