I need to find out about client/user logins.

I have a customer who wants to have their clients be able to log in to get their test results or find out the stage the analysis is at, etc from the laboratory.

It needs to be secure.

Anyone able to help a newbie?

Any suggestions would be most welcome and gratefully acknowledged!

Ta!

One way would be to use PHP and have it read a database, and when the user types their username and password PHP would check the database and make sure they are in it.

If they are it would let them in and read in their data from the database.
ELSE
If they were not in the database it would say login failed.

If this sounds like what you want please e-mail me.

Okay, could it be your signature as to WHY it just sat there.... do us all a favor and get rid of the signature. It is overly annoying and it makes someone NOT want to go to your website.

Just for future reference for anyone else.... you can stop his signature by pushing the stop button on your browser.

If I had to guess, I would say that you were around 12 or 13.... At least that is what the signature says about you.

Hope it helps

I've deleted two of your posts since you triple-posted. That is all.

For a day there, I thought that he had moved his gif sig and we all were able to relax with a big X instead of the unwanted movement.
