Hi,
I just have a question re: StatCounter servers... Are they fast or do they have the potential to "bog down" the loading of my website when someone comes to visit my website?
I had GoStats on another website and it slowed up the loading of my website, even on my server (we have cable).
I don't like the current stat program that my host has for my website. It won't show anything less than 20 hits. (I'm a local business - not national.)
What I see that StatCounter offers, I really like.
Please advise.
Thank you.
SC

Hi SC,

FWIW: I too was worried about the effect of statcounter code on the loading of my website, but the only way to see for myself was to sign-up for the service and find out. Our business is a start-up and our primary means (initially) to interact with potential Customers is through our website, so their experience needs to be smooth.

We have been using statcounter for a week now, and it has caused no obvious hindrance to the load speed of our content. The positive side is it has given us a HUGE benefit in seeing how effective our advertising has been. To date, we are very satisfied with the statcounter service.

Thanks for your time,
kavalla

Maintaining the fastest loading counter time is our top priority. We know that without that nothing else matters.
