navigation path -visitors

hi
i've installed the invisible counter on all of the pages on my site so that i can see the visitors navigation path. this works well.
however on the visitor list a visitor is listed several times every time s/he visits a page. Is it possible to turn this off as it only repeating the same info taking up log space
