I want to track a 70 page site.
I have built it from a basic template in Dreamweaver.
When I update the template, all the other pages get updated.
Can I put the StatCounter code in the body of the template, which will then put the same code on all the pages?
Is this the way to track all the pages on this site - or is it just sufficient to put it on the main index page?
Thanks for any advice.

I don't have dreamweaver but I believe so, just try it out and then check the other pages to see if it was added, just make sure it is between the <body> and </body> tags and for search engines and such it is best to have it near the bottom so it does not mark it as a main feature of the site.

No you have to put it on all the pages like you said.[/quote]

What was the outcome of the Dreamweaver template installation. I am in the same situation -- one template, 200+ pages. Can I put the HTML in the template and get per page results.

Put the code in the template, in the <body> ... </body> section. All the pages that use that template will end up having the Statcounter code on them.
NB: This assumes that you want to use the same Statcounter code on all your pages that use that particular template.
