Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Hi, I'm a newbie with 2 projects. One of them works fine but the other only shows the visitors on the current day on the visitor page. The log is full (100) so it seems like there should be several pages. On the other project the log is not full (72) and there are several pages of visitors on the visitor page.

Sure would appreciate any help! :)

Your log is full because the other project filled it up. Remember, no matter how many projects you have, they have to share that log...you don't get a separate log for each project.

that's not quite how the system works.

Every project gets a free log size of 100 no matter what. Then if you upgrade your account you can share that extra log out to your different projects as you see fit.

Once the log is full for a project, then your next visitor to your website will overwrite your oldest visitor.

So does that mean that I could make a separate project for all the pages of my website and get a log size of 100 for each of them?

You could but we don't recommend it at all. The stats don't make sense seperated out like that, and you can't see how your visitors navigate through your website. The popular pages stats won't make sense - you won't get an overall traffic count.

It doesn't make sense to do it, and we don't recommend it. The system is designed to have the same code put on all your pages for the best results.

I do understand how the system works. I thank granny'sjewelry box for attempting to help me, but there is a real problem on one project that I am not experiencing on the other project.

I also thank webmaster for the response, but can you tell me why one of my projects shows several pages of visitors covering several days while my other project will only show the visitors on the current day? Last time I looked only one visitor showed on my visitor page. But my log is full with 100 visitors. So shouldn't I see the last 100 visitors on my visitors page? All I ever see there is the current day... but my other project lists all the visitors I have had since the log is not yet full.
