Compatibility with xanga

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before... I only skimmed the topics and did a quick search for "xanga" and found no similar threads.

When I had a blog (blogger.com) a while back, StatCounter was a dream come true. Recently, I moved my blog to xanga.com, and discovered that StatCounter wouldn't work for xanga sites. Xanga URLs follow the format of "http://www.xanga.com/home.aspx?user=USERNAME_HERE" and when I try to make a new project, the following happens:

Does this problem occur with all xanga sites? If so, can StatCounter be easily made compatible with xanga? I currently use SiteMeter to track my xanga, but I far prefer StatCounter. If StatCounter could be expanded to work for xanga sites, I would really really appreciate it, and I believe many other xangans would be too.

I find that I am having a similar problem with StatCounter on my Xanga page right now. I've installled the StatCounter code (just copy and pasted before my sitemeter code), and though my sitemeter still works with tracking visits, the StatCounter hasn't recorded anything at all. I would just like to go ahead with only using StatCounter, but I dont' want to dismantle my sitemeter until I'm sure that it works.

Right now, I'm using the StatCounter code with javascript (b/c sitemeter also uses javascript and has worked well so far), and I'm on the invisible mode because I just prefer to not have any icons showing on the page. I saw on another xanga-related thread where an admin suggested using the html-only code, which i would rather not move to. Is that the only option left?
