My wife's website gets few enough visitors so that this problem easily shows up. It’s not a problem per se with Statcounter, but what I am seeing is that visitors specifically from AOL change their IP addresses dynamically from page to page, for instance:
Feb 22 12:19:01 PM cache-dl10.proxy.aol.com (205.188.209.46)
Feb 22 12:14:40 PM cache-dm07.proxy.aol.com (205.188.209.75)
Feb 22 12:13:58 PM cache-dl09.proxy.aol.com (205.188.209.45)
I have observed this with other visitors, all through AOL. It appears that AOL is routing every page request through a dynamic proxy. Are other users observing the same occurrence. Also are other ISPs using dynamic proxies to the same extent as AOL?
