Gave up at 4:08:07 today

My counter stopped logging visits at 4:08:07 nothing has changed since that time. I average over 500 page loads a day, but everything gave up at 4:08:07. not a single load, or visit since then. I keep a second counter for backup and comparison and it continues to log. You are my default counter so I rely heavily on the stats I get from you.
What gives? Please sdvise.

It is after midnight now, US CST, and the site stats are still not being updated, though the displayed page counter does show the correct number of visitors.

My counter was spotty yesterday and packed in completetly at 9pm. Nothing since then.

We updated our database of cities/states/countries to get better accuracy. This has put the slave server out of sync which is used for reporting your stats.

No need to worry, your stats are still being recorded and will be returned in 4 hours time. 3pm GMT.
