resolution/browser defaults?

sometimes the resolution will show as 800x600 when it's a really high resolution... and i have a visitor who has a mac w/ a safari browser but it shows up as windows sometimes?

is this just me?

I have the same problem....We run about 5 computers here at the office at a 1600 x 1200 resolution and SC is all over the place for what kind of resolution they have. The computers are Unix based SGI's (Silicon Graphics) that run Irix 6.5 operating systems, which is basically the extremely more complicated version of the also Unix based Mac.

i got excited for a second.. one of the mac/high res. users that go to my site came up with the right resolution.. but now they're back to the 800x600. and it still says windows xp! weird!

as i've said before, love, love, love, statcounter! ya'll rock!

but any chance of getting this fixed?
