Instead of listing every single page view, it would be easier to view visitor data by summarizing them by visitor, or at least grouping them.

Right now, I have to look through 25 page views where one page view from a unique visitor may be lost in the reams of data. It gets very tedious. Most of the data is repetitive, and just clutters the screen.

I've used a competing service before, and it worked very well that way.

I agree. The main list should mark the unique visitor and then you could drill down on each as required to get the valuable page view info.

It would make things much more streamlined.

I agree too...

IndexTools.com is doing just this - and it is very usefull and cuts down on the complexity.

Well, the purpose is to have a log of each page view as it happens. I consider this a useful log as well. In fact this would be the raw stats and everything else is derived from this.

If all we wanted was a visitor log, I can just look at the log files on our servers. Viewing the list of visitors, or at least grouping page views by visitor, is much more powerful.

Maybe there could be two different views of the data, so that people who want to just look at the page view logs can still see it that way as well.
