This is weird what is up with this?

On the list that has the little magnifying glass icons it says this user is from

Taiwan, Province Of China

yet when viewed in the detail page it says Wyoming and somehow this makes me wonder just because it is teh US and china so makes me wonder just how accurate this is. Isn't first time I have seen such stats. :?

It is impossible to be 100% accurate all the time for the geo-location but it is very, very accurate 95% of the time. We update our database monthly to ensure the highest degree of accuracy possible.

One of the biggest problems is with AOL who use a web proxy for all the users so it is very, very difficult to accurately determine the location of AOL users.

Also if you look at the host name with the .tw extension and then look at the other info. Most likely the company is based in Wyoming (i.e. registered) but since the actual internet server hub is for Taiwan and is most likely in Taiwan it is showing up as in Taiwan.

That is the problem, I'm sure of it. I've seen this happening a lot and it's always the same thing.
