Hello,
This is my first post here. My user name is "samtom.' I've noticed that my counters do not appear to be working. I have sites at http://healthyliving-4u.net and http://mentorsinmotionint.com/tom.htm.
I've been on both sites today and the counters do not reflect this. Nor, do they reflect the traffic I've been sending via Traffic Swarm and NoMoreHits.com.
The Traffic Swarm traffic is split between these and another site, but the NoMoreHits.com is only to http:healthyliving-4u.net. And, there has been traffic directed to these sites yesterday and today.
Please advise.
Many thanks,
Tom

Your page at http://healthyliving-4u.net that is inside the frame does not render properly, there are errors on it. Therefore there is no Statcounter code present there.
This is what the code at the bottom of your page looks like:
</body>
</html>
</tr>
</table>
</center>
</div>
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<BLOCKQUOTE></BLOCKQUOTE></BODY></HTML></object></layer></div></span></style></noscript></table></script></applet>
<script language="JavaScript">var PUpage="76001075"; var PUprop="geocities"; </script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/pu5geo.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/ygIELib9.js?v3"></script><script language="JavaScript">var yviContents='http://us.toto.geo.yahoo.com/toto?s=76001075&l=NE&b=1&t=1091906320';yviR='us';yfiEA(0);</script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mc/mc.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://geocities.com/js_source/geov2.js"></script><script language="javascript">geovisit();</script><noscript>http://visit.webhosting.yahoo.com/visit.gif?us1091906320</noscript>

<script language="JavaScript">var PUpage="76001073"; var PUprop="geocities"; </script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/pu5geo.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://www.geocities.com/js_source/ygIELib9.js?v3"></script><script language="JavaScript">var yviContents='http://us.toto.geo.yahoo.com/toto?s=76001073&l=NE&b=1&t=1092748651';yviR='us';yfiEA(0);</script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://us.i1.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/i/mc/mc.js"></script><script language="JavaScript" src="http://geocities.com/js_source/geov2.js"></script><script language="javascript">geovisit();</script><noscript>http://visit.webhosting.yahoo.com/visit.gif?us1092748651</noscript>

See, there is stuff after the </body> and </html> closing tags, which shouldn't be there.
Also, remember, once you get this page to work correctly, the counter version you have to use is the one for Frames.
For the other url at http://mentorsinmotionint.com/tom.htm the code is also very messed up.
Here is the top of the code on your page:
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Language" content="en-gb">
<meta name="keywords" content="mentors in motion, home work, home based business, mlm, home based businesses, home-based, home based work, big-ticket, big-ticket items, seminar, seminars, business seminars, val smyth, mentors in motion int, val smith, mentors, marketing, consultation, consultation, mentoring, business advice, marketing advice, web coaching, support, support group, web site promotion, site promotion, marketing, promote my web site, website promotions,classifieds, classified ads, search engines, network marketing">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<title>Mentors In Motion International - &THE Ultimate Home Based Business
Opportunity and Money Maker for ALL!</title>
<style fprolloverstyle>A:hover {color: red; font-weight: bold}
</style>
</head>
<html>
The <html> tag should have been right at the top. You have inserted things there in the wrong places. You've also lost the bottom of your page somewhere, since the last line is </font>, thus there's no </body> and no </html> . Of course, no Statcounter code anywhere either.
Have you been using some WYSIWYG html generator software? Well all I can say is that it messes up big time.

Hi Circlecast,
While it does not resolve the issue, it is comforting to know others are having a similar experience.
When I go to the Summary page, there are no hits at all since 8/10 for one account and the other shows 2 hits, probably from me checking something.
I'm driving traffic from other sources. NoMoreHits.com said they had 79 page views of my HealthlyLiving site since 8/10. Only the two mentioned above show up.
Are others having similar challenges?
Best Wishes,
Tom

Hi Christina,
Thanks for your response. Apparently, my response to Circlecast and your reply were being done at the same time.
I found your response after positing mine.
I see I have my work cut out for me to attempt to clean up the site.
However, this does not explain what's happening at
http://mentorsinmotionint.com/tom.htm
Have you looked at that one as well?
Thanks,
Tom

Sure I've looked. This is where I said the <head> is before the <html> tag and this anatomy isn't quite right either :lol:

Hi Christina,
Duh! :( Sorry about that, obviously I did not read thoroughly enough the first time.
Thanks for your complete review.
Best Wishes, :)

Well, Tom, it looks like you have a nasty game of 52 pickups - only it's several hundred pick-ups.
Get the coffee brewing and hang in there while you plod along :lol:
Good luck.

Circlecast, your first site, Lastingimages, has no Statcounter in the code view of the first page.
Your second site has it, but you're using the Frames option. If you're not accessing that page from a frameset, you should use the regular counter.
