not responding to 'external links only"

when using the came from functin I am receiving lots of internal links when previously [last 8 months] this was no the case. the external links only checkbox seems to be malfunctioning. responses........other than chrisooc......
anyone else?

Ok, so I'm not going to tell you to read what appears at the bottom of the Came From stats page, right under the place where you select to show or not only external links. Where it tells you to define your Internal links....

I assume you've already checked that and that is not the problem. Oh, well.... :?

at 4000 page loads a day and 900 unique hits, i get a feel for internal and external links. That would be a waste of free stats.
Something is not the same as 2 days ago. I register most of my hits from t-shirt rankings or search engines. Something big time just changed. I run a product design business with cafepress and I am seeing page to page referrals within site.
Either Cafepress is changing something or statcounter is missing or overlooking something in this case because the referrals with or without the box checked are internal. God I hope I am wrong i hate to be the lone voice .

Chris in the end you were right on
an enterprise I have an interest in is changing two domain names to one and I didn't catch it.
it was with the address that the problem arose.
I am a hot head so thanks, my apologies .
