Not relating directly to Stat Counter, but indirectly related as such, on the reporting of some of my ad banners for this month, I see 0 impressions and 52 click-throughs. How can that be? Wouldn't a person have to have impressions first?
Thanks,
Scoob

Hello; I noticed you are concerned with the accuracy of impressions or click-throughs tracked by statcounter. My question is how do i set up statcounter to track impressions and click-throughs in the first place? I'll appreciate any help. Thank you, Max

An impression is when your page that carries teh Adsense unit is loaded. If theat page has Statcounter code and if the visitor is nto blocking that, this pageload will be detected.
Furthermore the latest version of the Statcounter tracking code (named SC4) can record some (but not all) Adsense clicks. This requires that the Statcounter code be placed at the bottom of the source code, just before the </body> tag. Also it has to be the full code, which contains a javascript portion.
Just because Statcounter records the impression and the click it doesn't mean Google Adsense will accept them as valid however.
