View Full Version : Adding new search engines for Keyword Analisys
Can you add new search engines to be included in Keyword Analisys.
Specifically I need this search engine added as Slovenian users use it quite a lot:
http://www.najdi.si/search.jsp?q=home%20box%20office
(parameter q is a search query)
You wish is our command.
Give me a S, give me a T ... give me a STICKY! :)

www.ananzi.co.za - South Africa's top Search engine
search query is " qt= " as far as i can see
eg
www.ananzi.co.za/cgi-bin/ananzi/ananzi-apisearch.pl?ht=0&qt=pulse&qs=&qc=&pw=100%25&ws=0&qm=0&st=1&nh=10&lk=1&rf=0&si=1&rq=0&col=sasi

And here's another one. www.ilse.nl has one of the most popular Dutch engines. It's:
http://search.ilse.nl/searchresults.jspx?search_for=[query]
Adding it to your list of search engines for keyword analysis would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Michel

Is slovenian site najdi.si added? Because I still don't get any stats for its searches. And there have been quite a lot of them.
Another quite popular slovenian search site is Mat'Kurja. And it has a URL form like this:
http://www.matkurja.com/si/iskalnik/?q=what_is_being_searched&search_source=directory&x=36&y=13
So again q=what_is_being_searched

Another Slovenian search site: Slowwwenia (http://www.slowwwenia.com/)
Searches are of this form:
http://www.slowwwenia.com/search.php?mode=and&q=one+two+three
q=word1+word2+word3+.....

I have got a couple of visits from Najdi.si search engine and it looks like these are not listed in the Keyword analysis page. So it looks like the new web search engines are not working.
updated software hasn't been sent out yet.
probably by monday.

Hm I still can't see data for najdi.si. For example some recent searches from this site were:
http://www.najdi.si/search.jsp?q=mozilla%20firefox%201.0.1.&o=10
http://www.najdi.si/search.jsp?q=emule%20free%20download
http://www.najdi.si/search.jsp?q=kstars
http://www.najdi.si/search.jsp?q=astronomski%20program
But some older and newer searches from google do show up.

I feel that the site owners aren't doing enough work. Therefore here's a site with 1000 + search engines you could add if you wanted :P
http://www.searchenginecolossus.com/
Seriously though, this would enhance the already great service a lot.
Thanks for the link - but all the processing puts a toll on our servers and response times.
We'll be adding the most popular requested ones. Not every single one on the planet :)

Ah that's a shame man :p
In that case I'll come back with a list of just the ones i see in my log
Don't worry, I'll be back.

Could you please add www.toile.com/search? . It's a popular Quebec search engine.
Also in the Yahoo group: ca.search.yahoo.com/search? for a Canadian flavored Yahoo.
Not sure if you need specific search string layouts? if so, sorry, forgot to copy them
Thanks

phpOpenTracker contains an extensive list of regular expressions to extract keywords from search engine site referer urls. You guys might want to take a look and add engines you currently do not support.
I know most my traffic is coming for smaller search engines that are currently not getting recognized.
