I don't think stat display is nice. For eg.:
1- "Came from" display: SC only total Referring links. It should be like this:
Total % Referring link
----------------------------------
10 25 www.bannermatrix.com//member/earncredits/index.html
2- "Country/State/City/ISP" display: In fact the piece graphic (that show % of country) will look TANGELED if country count up to 25-30 countries. I think it's better if thre is a option check box so that user can turn on/off the graphic display. Also the display should look like this (for eg.):
Num % Country Name
---------------------------------
22 45 United States
9 30 Belgium
9 2.5 China
How do u think?

we'll be adding the percentage column for sure - but why do you want to disable the graphs?
I, too, would like to have an option to disable the graphs. I come in on 56K dialup, and the load time for the graph on the Summary page is truly annoying when all I want to see is a quick Summary of the numbers. If I want to see an overall picture for the month, I can call up the graph, but that should be at the user's option, not imposed.
Might I also suggest that your new and very useful Recent Visitors stat would be lots easier to read were the referring link the last item in the block of data for each user instead of next-to-last as you now have it. (You now have: Entry Page, Referring Link, Exit Page. I'm suggesting that you instead have it: Entry Page, Exit Page, Referring Link.) That order makes it perfectly consonant with the Recent Pageload stat, and in switching between the two, it makes for much faster and more sure reading and comparision (because the eye takes both in as a consistent block of data without having to scan the items line by line).

The summary graph is 4kb big?
If the referring link was moved down, then people might think it refers to the referring link of the exit page, where it refers to the referring link of the entry page.
The pageload stats don't have an exit page so there is no comparison as such.
Thanks for your response.
The graph may be only 4KB, but that doesn't make it any less annoying when all you want is a quick look at the numbers as the graph takes up almost the entire top portion of the browser window, and one has to scroll down to see the numbers.
But no big deal if it's a problem making it show at the user's discretion.
On the other, I see you've already made the alteration, for which I thank you. The comparison in terms of eyeballing is that one tends to read the Recent Pageload stat quickly with the eye to, first, take in Who? and From Where? (i.e., the first line and last line of the data block, respectively). One would like the eye to be able to quick-read the data block in the same way with the Recent Visitor stat, as it does now since you altered the order of the lines.
Thanks again for your attention to this.

On another note, I'd like to see the following two numbers for each project, on the "My Projects" page (immediately after log-in):
- unique visitor monthly count
- unique visitor total count
The reason for this request is that all of my counters are set as invisible in my projects; the only way currently available to know these unique visitor counts (as far as I am aware of) is through Counter Install & Setting --> Configure Counter, and this is only good for the total number of unique visitors for each project.

You have that on the summary page for each project, if you set your date range correctly.

Thank you, Christina, for your reply.

Do you really? If you do, could you let me know how to set the date range correctly? I'm using the [apprently default] last 30 days range.
My "My Projects" page (I repeat, I was tallking about the initial page that you view immediately after log-in) has six named columns in total, from left to right, as follows:
- Project Name
- Type [Standard, in my case]
[- five icons]
- Total
- Hit Usage [apparently monthly]
- Log Size
- Log Usage
I know the monthly total number of unique visitors for each project within the set date range is displayed when on individual project pages.

Just go to the Summary page and select a different date range from the one that is shown, which is the last 30 days by default. I mean the actual date range itself, as given on the first line (Set Range), not the second one that says "last 30 days (Set period).
This will show you daily details for the date range, in descending order by date. It will not carry over to the My projects page though.

Thanks again, Christina.

Yes, that was exactly the point in my initial post here.
At present, there are some rather cumbersome steps to follow to see the unique visitor counts, and I thought it would be nice and handy to see these figures listed on the initial page.
Dear StatCounter staff, I'd appreciate it if you give my initial request some consideration.

 Sorry, I misunderstood your post then. I thought you couldn't find any way to get that information.

Christina, no, most probably you didn't misundersatnd me.
Reading back my own first post, I realised I had forgotten to mention that I regularly see and check the daily and total (within set date range) unique visitor nubmers on individual project pages.
I should have said simply that I wanted to see the monthly and total unique visitor counts for each project just like the page view counts, on the initial page immediately after log-in.
Thank you once again for your repilies. I really appreciate your help.

Hey, where'd my pie graphs go???
I was just looking at "system stats", and two of the pie graphs have been replaced with horizontal bar charts. Certainly useful for some stats, but I much prefer the pies. (Mmmmm... pie... uh, never mind)
Maybe a pie-vs.-bar option would be in order?

Love the new horizontal bars. The pie-graphs have there place but i feel that the way statcounter has done them is brilliant. Dont need different colours, and its easier to read.
I think they should keep the pie charts for the other information but horizontal bars for the others.
Neat idea love it

I agree! Although I notice a few of the pie charts are a little different, with brighter colors, as well as the brighter colors on the Summary page graph. Nice! But bring back the pies and get rid of the bars, or at the very least add the option of either bar/pie.
I also prefer the pie chart for the country stats. Maybe there can be an option to choose which way the graph shows up? Also wondering why in the last month I've had visitors from Germany but they never show up on the country visitor list? They show in the recent pageload activity but never under Country/State/City ISP.It depends on what kind of data was gathered by StatCounter. I've noticed that some Country/State/City/ISP users show up in one category, but not another. e.g. the state/region is usually not gathered for many foreign countries, and for some reason I get visitors from MICHIGAN that don't show up as USA!

I don't like the bar graphs that have come in recently to display this like the visitor country. It doesn't provide any additional information from a simple tally of numbers. The old pie charts are much better, since they can give a quick visual representation of each country's share. The point is more about the percentages than individual visitor counts, isn't it? True, it gets to be crowded when there are over, say, a dozen countries, but I still don't see how bar charts let me see anything more clearly. Plus I'm always having to scroll around looking for the edge of the graph. Perhaps there should be an option to switch?
