(No) emailed reports

Hmm.. seems I need some help.. :oops:
I count about a half dozen websites. Have signed up for weekly reports but have never received even a single one!
Have used the 'send now' capability & receive the reports just fine..
Any suggestions?

That is a known current bug and it's being worked on. It doesn't look as if anybody's had any luck with automated email reports yet.

I agree with you. I signed up weeks ago for weekly reports to be sent to myself and an authorised viewer - neither of us has received one (except when I clicked on the link saying "Send one NOW!").

Surely a bug is something which occurs in a working feature? If the feature is not working (has never been?), it is not a bug to us users - just a non-working feature!

I was just going to post the same question. I just signed up about 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten a single report yet. Did anyone look in the Bug's section of this forum?

Well, it's a bug since the function is there to order them and they aren't coming out as documented! That's what a bug is: the thing doesn't work as documented :lol: It doesn't matter if it has ever worked or not. If it has worked before and it no longer works now that's a newly introduced bug, that's all.

HEY! I've received my Email Reports automatically at last! What did you do?

It appears - to me - that there is a rather large delay in the email reports arriving.
For a number of weeks now i have got reports - but... the report shows from monday to sunday and only arrives generally on tuesday.
I don't know where the hold up is occuring because most of the email transmission systems across the globe are pretty much instant these days.

Well, I got mine on Tuesday at 1am. It is based on data up to Sunday at midnight I should think. Therefore the delay is about 24-25 hours. I'd expect the system to need to take a snapshot of the entire database at midnight Sunday. Then process the summary stats for all the projects using this snapshot and prepare the mailings. That would take some time. I would assume the actual mailings must be going out all through Monday, probably at low priority so as not to cause congestion.

I got mine yesterday, as expected.

I get the reports for projects on partitions 0, 1 and 2. I don't have any on partition 3 so maybe there's a problem with that server.

Mine have failed to arrive again!

I guess I'll just have to order them manually.
