View Full Version : Cheers Chris
I was having a browse around the forum and came across the memberlist. I hadn't really looked at it much before, and I was interested to see that the list could be sorted in different ways. So, just for fun, I ordered it in descending order of number of posts. Well, what I saw should not have astounded me ... but it did.
Our very own Chrisooc has posted 2165 ...6 ....7....8 (oy, stop it Chris) times. Webmaster has posted 1903. BUT, not only has Chris posted 162 times more than the Webmaster, but Webmaster started on 8/3/03, whereas Chris has only been at it since 29/04/04. Chris's posts compute to 9.14 per day. :)
If Chris stopped posting immediately, and if I posted at least once every single day, it would take me 5 and a half years to catch up. :?
The point to my garbled ramblings is this. I am only one person that has been helped by Chris. How many countless others have benefitted from her knowledge and generosity.
On top of everything else she's even found time to throw on a bit of a party for us all. http://www.jwjonline.net/images/XmasSmiley.gif
Cheers Chris
You're a star .... Thanks a million, for everything

Awwwww.... I can't even say Cheers back and all that without that counter going up ! I'm even embarrassed myself
So I am a chatterbox - didn't you know that? Yeah you did.
I do tend to take up a lot of real estate and hog the forum and all that. Sorry if it looks that way. I don't always make sense to myself even
I've learned a lot from here and from other places. Hopefully it's not all wasted. Somebody helps me, I help others in turn, to the extent that I'm able to do it.
So Cheers back to you John and everybody else.

I would like to second John's comments.
I used to think that Chrisooc was an automated system (warm greetings Christina). I even PM'ed her a congratulation when she reached 1000 posts (It wasn't too long ago).
Always helpfull, sometimes confusing, spells worse than me and is very knowledgeable so ideal. She has helped me out on more than one occasion. Definitely says what she thinks.
I was going to post that my news resolution was to out post her in 2005 but I did the maths and decided that it wasn't a good idea.
I am sure she has an auto answer script generator

Yes, Christina is definitely one of my Forum heroes . . . And let me use this chance to thank you all, Arne, Motorwatcher, DSL Guy, Trackerm. Paul, to name a few, and of course, my boyfriend John who continues to be my inspiration to be a good person everyday! (Christina . . . this is another Hallmark moment between John and I ) .
I wuv you all. Even if I can not add to your gibberish  (WEBLISH), I learn a lot of new words (that mostly I do not understand) just from reading your posts everyday. You all have very colorful personalities that watching and listening to your daily buzz is better than watching television! MerryX'mas! and we'll see you (if I can catch up and you are not yet too drunk to notice me) at Christina's party!!!

PS the members list also shows we are a very worldy bunch with the top 50 posters from the 4 corners of the globe... none from Antarctica or Santa's Kingdom, though.

 (blushing) ... Thank you, but I am not worthy.

We certainly have an interesting little community here, and you are every bit as much a contributor to the myriad of colours as everyone else is. You're not the only one to learn new words ... you've taught us one. No one had ever heard of Weblish before. http://www.jwjonline.net/images/XmasSmiley.gif
We all wuv you too. :D
