I'm doing a new design for my site. I have made a picture background and the content will be in a box in the center of the image. I am using frontpage and trying to get the right look without using frames.
My problem right now is, I can't get my side menu to be aligned proper on high resolution screens??? If i use the text box option in frontpage I can put it on the page anywhere I want. I put it in the proper location on the picture but if I resize my resolution the picture moves and the box stays in the same place. So nothing will ever line up on different resolutions. If i make a table I think I can get what I want, but using a table is to hard for me to line up, but not unless I use the text box option. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi,
Tried to look at the site but it errored me out. You said you were using Frontpage(!). Have a look at different editors you can use instead or as well as FP.
http://www.snapfiles.com/freeware/webpublish/fweditors.html (I like alleycode but have NO links to it. I use this, notepad and mainly Dreamweaver UltraDev)
I will look again when your site kicks back in.

My site kicked you out? I'm not sure why it would do that? That doesn't make since. If you are trying to use the high speed site it takes about 15 seconds to load so most people leave before it will load. My site now does have a few alignment problems but I am more concerned with my new design that I have not revealed yet. It makes absolutely no sence why it doesn't align like it should??? Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried out that program and I am nothing but lost using it, I don't understand how anything works in that format? I really don't have the time to learn something other than frontpage at the moment. Sorry

Hi,
The server must have been down last time.
It takes 21 sec's to load and then takes me in to one of my worst fears. You know when you load a DVD and it doesn't allow you to FF it until a certain stage? That's what I got. Yep lots of Flash(?), beautiful art but got bored. Can't comment on the rest as I backed out. Sorry.
Edit - Just looked all the way through. 60sec of "In a cinema near you" then a blank screen for 3 sec's. then a low level accept script (my AV kicked in here) Then 10 sec's for the navigation buttons to turn up.
I am a lover of MM Flash but clicking the high speed option and waiting one and a half mins to load? If I hadn't visited your site before I would have gone away not knowing what you sold.
Great art but (really sorry) not sold. more suited to presentations and display's.

yeah thats why I'm re-doing it with a new design, go to the dialup site to view it. I download the DHE Editor and it seems to be an improvement. I'm going to see what I can do with it. Yes it has flash and a Java to load on the high speed site. Rookie mistake, it will all be fixed. hopefully

Don't knock it. It is a great use of MM Flash, just too long (for me). Google can "read" Flash content now so at least this is OK.
Try a skip Flash button for the into.
On a good day I would watch it. If pushed I would like a skip btn to push.
Not trying to be negative. It all works well. Sorry.
Not sure about the disable right click from www.dynamicdrive.com
Love the "make us homepage" link. Really good :D

There is a skip button.
This section is designed for High Speed Connections ONLY!
The Home page has 500KB may take up to 15 seconds to load. Please be patient.
