Log in to your account (to the " My Projects" page, and click on the "Install Code and Customise Project Settings" tool icon to the "Installation and Configuration" page. When there, click on the link "Edit Settings" where you can update project settings (including IP address to exclude).

If you have a dynamic IP that change often, then it's hard to block your own visits with that. You can use a blocking cookie as an option. I'm on ADSL with a dynamic IP but the current IP hav'nt change since I started using StatCounter, so the blocking by IP works fine for me :)

I've tried both. Neither work. It's getting pretty annoying.

My DSL is connected continuously, I doubt that my IP is changing all that often.

Check your IP address that is being logged by Statcounter and also what it truly is from your point of view. You may find a difference.

If your'e using some fancy firewall it may change the Ip address you have, in order to preserve your privacy. I forget what one such firewall was called, but it's one that some people use and it can cause some confusion.
