Is there a way to reset the date range? I can do it
while I am on the statcounter site but once I leave
it, it doesn't stay. Right now the last day showing
is for February 15. Would like to know how to
correct this if at all possible.

Thanks

The stats are always current. For purposes of seeing the summary, you can set a date range. It will pick data from your log and show that in the summary alone.

Otherwise everything else is based on the entire contents of the log. For the free servcie, thsi contains the latest 100 pageloads.

Thanks for your reply. Then my question is
since the free stat counter only shows the
last 100 page loads wouldn't that also
be inclusive of the date range such as
today is February 16, so wouldn't it
show the last 100 page loads up to
todays date?

Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, it will be up to the minute. Assuming the server is not lagging in reporting your stats, it may mean no new hits have been logged to your counter since yesterday. No visitors that is or none that triggered the code.

This could also happen if your counter code is somehow incorrectly insterted at this point - like if you have made changes and somehow messed up something.

Thanks again,

Have made no changes, have been using the
same code and in fact it was your site who set
the code in for me initially so nothing should be
changed as I wasn't sure how to do it.

Well hopefully it will all work out. Just confusing
to see it showing February 14 or 15 and today being
the 16th.......

Do you mean it should be the same original code generated from Statcounter's Install code page? I meant that you may have changed the web pages where you originally inserted the code so as to introduce an error which would prevent to code from logging.

Maybe it was somebody on staff with Statcounter who helped you originally. I have no idea where your code is inserted, I certainly wasn't involved in this.

Yes, I mean originally when it was inserted
someone on staff at blast4 inserted it for
me as I was unsure how or where it was
to go. That's all I meant, didn't mean you
personally. Sorry for the confusion.

I meant that from day one when we started
using stat counter the code was inserted for
us and that hasn't been changed, nothing
has been changed except the date of buy by
for a bonus which had nothing to do with the
original sate counter code.

Again sorry if you thought I meant you but
that definitely wasn't the case. Just meant that
the code was not put in by me and what was put
in was never changed....Am sure it will all work out

Not to worry :D
