I was just wondering if there was anyting statcounter could do to make it so my spyware/antivirus scan doesnt identify the blocking cookie and a threat. i know this is more my problem not statcounters but it would save me a bit of work when i'm scaning my computer.

Your anti-spyware program usually has an ignore list where you can place these cookies so they will not be deleted next scan.

If you use Ad-Aware you have an option to put an Object to a Ignore list. When the scan is done, go to ("Next") the Scanning Results. Find the Statcounter cookie in Summary, Critical or Negligible list and check it. Then right-click to open the context menu where more options are available. One of the options is "Add checked to Ignore list".
