You should post a little more here (like a quick summary of what you are trying to do).

I've used _ as a word separator but I am considering moving all my pages to -

Both of the following work (using .htaccess) Surf_Shop (http://www.surfinglifestore.com/surf_shop.html) and Surf-Shop (http://www.surfinglifestore.com/surf-shop.html). It'll be interesting to see which page gets listed highest (once they are both listed)
