Projects on partition 7 ( server c8 ) appear to be lagging in reporting.
Logging also appears not to happen.

No you're not alone. All who have their projects on c8 have the same problem.

I'm having the same problem - 3 or 4 of my projects have stopped counting visitors, and no change was made to the source code (just in case, I reinstalled the code but with no success). I understand that I'm not alone, and that this problem will be fixed.
So now I wonder:
1. Will the visits that occurred during the time the service was down be counted?
2. By when can we expect the service to resume?
3. Is there anything we can do (like provisionally creating new projects) in order not to lose the visits that occur in the meantime?
Thanks,
Maris

Sorry, no idea for the first 2 questions. Hopefully there will be a resolution soon.
Your third one might be ok if it's very important to you, and if you don't consider it too much work to add more code. You are pretty sure to end up with a project on a different server which will not have this problem.

Thanks, Chrisooc. Does this mean that I can install the codes for TWO diffrent projects (the one that's not working and the new one) in one and the same webpage?

You can. As long as you remember why you did it and eventually keep just one of them. It tends to slow down your page a bit.

Do we have an ETA on when the server will be back online?
I don't want to sound like a complainer. I really appreciate the great work you guys do. I've been using StatCounter for about a year, and have never had a problem - which is more than I can say for my web hosts. :)

It's been 30 hours now...
I'm paying for this service, so I think I'm entitled to get some information about when it's likely to be back up.
Otherwise I do love statcounter though!

Is the unrecorded traffic stats lost (never recorded) or can it be restored from somewhere?
If it's lost, can it be artificially made up in accordance with past trends so as not to affect weekly/monthly trends?

This is nonsense.
Unfortunately the counter projects on this server don't appear to have logged at all during that period. Usually at other times when a server has lagged one could see the summary total going up, though no detailed stats. This time the summary totals didn't go up either, not have they recovered by now. So it's a fair assumption that nothing can be recovered as nothing got logged.
