The idea is to make Rs.1,000,000 by selling 1 million pixels worth of advertising space for Rs.100 for a block on the grid (10x10 pixels).

There are 10,000 blocks on the board each block measures 10x10 pixels costing Rs.100.00

This wasn’t my original idea.

Idea : The Million Dollar Homepage is a website conceived by Alex Tew, a 21-year-old student from Wiltshire, England to help raise money for his university education.

My original plan was for a Web Designing Service much more complicated website but I didn’t know how to go about setting it up and administering it. So I thought I would start with a pixel site and when it’s successful enough I will send myself on a web design project. I have a few more business ventures I want to get off the ground but need more knowledge and experience to be able to launch them.

He said he wants a million pixels. Ok, your typical screen is 1024 x 768 pixles .... how many square pixels is that if you give him a screenful? ok, that's 786432 sq px ... so it will have to scroll down some, that's all ;)

Alan. This is Australia. A pixel here is bigger than the great outdoors. It streaches from beyond the Black Stump all the way to the Never Never. You aint seen a pixel till you've seen mine!
