It's the 535 members of the AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENT IN CANBERRA

The same group of Idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year
designed to keep the rest of us in line.

Almost everything there says "accused of" or "arrested for". How many of the accusations and arrests resulted in convictions? Not that accusations and arrests don't mean anything, but people in high positions are often targeted for all sorts of things.
The bad credit/bankruptcy thing is definitely mind boggling.
In any case, it's tough to find a decent politician these days.

This is another of thos topics where you can say:

Well, we want common-minded people running things, and common people have these problems.

Well, we want the best of the best leading us, and this ain't it.

Who care, what does a DUI have to do with being able to discuss farm subsidy or foreign relations?

Well, I don't care, it's Australia. Now, what about the US congress... (goes to look at online sexual deviant registry...)

Awesome link, very interesting how it is the same stats. Someone who likes to create a stink for laughs. Fearmongers, I think might be the word for whom thrive on using scare tactics to improve his stats, or just make him/her feel powerful.

thank you, good link

FFS......it's a joke !!!

joke - def. something that is amusing or ridiculous, esp. because of being ludicrously inadequate or a sham; a thing, situation, or person laughed at rather than taken seriously
