RESOLVED: Partition 6/c7 down

It seems that we have a problem with Partition 6/c7. I've escalated this and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible.

I'm on Partition 6/c7. The last visitor to my site was logged at 10:16pm (GMT) last night, so it's been down for over 13 hours now.

I've had no hits for over 18 hours now (it is now Feb 3, 9:10 AM USA Mountain Time) and I've been getting over 100 per day recently.

I don't know for before, but right now partition 6 server c7 works ok.

If you still have problems it may be a problem with how you are using the code.

I began receiving hits on partion 6 server c7 as of 4:28 pm Mountain Standard Time. It appears to be working fine now.

Question For The Powers That Be:

If these circumstances arise again in the future, would one solution for the user be to regenerate the counter code and install it on one's Web pages, rather than wait 3/4 of a day for the partition repair? On one of my sites, it would be very easy for me to update the counter code, since all pages that use the counter are based on one template, and are easily updateable. Would doing this result in any loss of historical stats in any way? Would doing this result in any undesirable circumstances for Statcounter personnel?

It has nothing to do with the code you have. It's on the Statcounter end that the database on that server had some lagging problems, that's all.
Generating the code again will not change that.

Absolutely not. Partition 5/ server c6 works just fine, and has been working just fine.

Check your own pages for problems.
