I think it was the same earlier. Moreover as the google PR updation is pending...it could be a good news for us in the near future.

i think the recent pr update is quite bad for statcounter because it is having a PR 9 from PR 10.

I'm seeing a PR 9 for most aswell, inclusive of StatCounter and Firstgov.gov.
Maybe its just google doing a PR "dance"? Could be...
Sadly for statcounter, the new pr update has made them a pr9 site. I think google has changed it's formulae.
