* “Search Engine Wars” link in left navbar appears to point to stats from existing project in SC3, rather than project tracked with SC4 beta code.

So the exit links are not working 100% and the search engine results are WAY off. What else should I be looking at thats new?

Additional data about the issue with the * “Search Engine Wars” link in left navbar — the numbers have skyrocketed in the last few hours. The results are listing search engines that haven’t linked to any of my projects.
It looks like these are the aggregate search engine returns for everyone who has installed the beta code, rather than just for my own project, as I get with my existing SC account.
(Perhaps this is not a bug, but a Buddhist “be-at-one-with-the-universe” feature?)
Thanks for looking into this.

I am added new counter and till now found already mentioned problems - IP blocking doesn’t work and “search engine war” shows SC3 statistic.

The Search Engine Wars on my beta project is WAY off.
It’s not just counting the old project’s stats as others have said, but it is thousands off. Currently it says there are 4000 plus hits from Google, 300 plus from Yahoo, and a few each from many others.
It may be getting stats from other accounts and adding them together, that’s my only real thought.

Hi! Apparentlly I have the same problems as the others that are trying out SC4. The Search Engine Wars really put a big smile on my face, but then I read this section . Hope you fix them soon.
Also, as a suggestion, it would be great to make a list with all the improvements and changes, new features, … that you plan to implement, as detailed as possible. I’m relatively new to SC and at least I would, possibly others, would find it useful. If there is already such a list, I apologize and please point me towards it.
Keep up the great work!

Installed, but I see a real serious problem with the numbers. The new tracker is telling me that I’ve had 131 visitors so far today. And of those 131 visitors, 6,367 came from Google, 436 came from Yahoo, and 106 came from MSN.

Installed, but I see a real serious problem with the search engine wars. The new system is reporting that I have had 140 visitors so far today. And of those 140 visitors, 6454 came from Google, 460 came from Yahoo, and 110 came from MSN.

Just a heads-up: The code fix for resolving the Search Engine Wars display counts in SC4 appears to have broken the auto-generated image link to the Search Engine Wars bar chart in both my SC3 and SC4 projects.

I get an extra ampersand tacked on the end of the URL for both images, so there's still a little tweaking required in the code that assembles that particular query string.
