RESOLVED: Use of Blocking Cookie causing counter not to display

Loaded code and its counting my visits so I added the blocking cookie and immediately instead of the counter I have a block of text saying
Statcounter - Free Web Tracker and Counter.
Disable the blocking cookie and it goes away and the counter shows again - and logs my visits!

When I use this I get an image at the bottom with a “X” (showing it can’t be found). How do I remove this image?

I found that if I block the cookie then the counter doesn’t show; only a link to Statcounter shows. However, if I don’t block the cookie then it shows pageloads. But, it also shows mine. So I just kept it blocking my original counter only, and I’ll have inflated pageloads until y’all fix it!

If I use “Stop logging my visits” the “Statcounter image” is no longer present on the concerning webpages.

Hi
I have configured an invisible test counter.
W/o blocking cookie (or a blocking cookie which was only valid for my other projects) everything is fine.
After updating the blocking cookie, now including the test project, my own visits are blocked but on the page I see a symbol for an image which was not found (in my case a blue rectangle with a “?”) linking to www.statcounter.com

Invisible counter doesn’t work. I see just an image placeholder. I also put it on my personal blog at http://www.sharkgirl.us It does the same thing there too.
