Just found out that in the regular project, “Visitors path” (my fav. overview page) I had a visitor with “No referring link” and no landing page.
This visitor was missing in the SC4 test project.
(Same difference under “Recent visitor activity”)
I hope it is a bug and not a new feature ;-))

I’m liking it so far. I also experienced the huge mismatch between visits on normal and beta… until I discovered that I had not put in the IP activity block on beta, so it was showing my own and my team’s hits. Since fixing that, it’s been in sync.

One Doubt/PROBLEM!
The doubt is at 12midnite the pageviews counter closes for the day and the next day opens. so the previous and the beta will start with 0. i checked for pageviews this evening and found the beta counter having 200 pageviews less than old!!!!!!!!!!

My SC4 log size (free counter) is stuck at "Your log size of 500 has 499 entries."
In the past it was always "Your log size of 500 has 500 entries."

Dear webmaster - I hope you don't see me as impolite, but can I assume that in the preparation for SC4, StatCounter development staff have looked at some of the more recent competing counters, such as getclicky.com. getclicky seems to have a more user-display oriented approach... Not as useful as your excellent counter, but maybe you can pick up a few presentation ideas...

That would be because it is not counting and it's stopped at 499 - you have probably lost it from the source of your site if you ever had it.

Hmm, the counter is working fine - just the log size display seems off by 1...

My old project and my new project are picking up completely different visitors.
So half my hits are being displayed by SC3 and the other half are being picked up and displayed by SC4??

That's kind of unlikely, sorry. Sounds like you mixed up sites and projects and pages.
I would check carefully what projects you used on what sites, and what pages on those sites.

Hi! I am experiencing the same problem, but it appears to me that the C4 stats are updated with a lag of some hours.
One hour ago C4 stats were showing visits until 12.56 (now here in Italy it's 19.36), while C3 stats were showing also some visits in the afternoon; then in C4 stats it appeared a visit occurred at 14.28, which is the visit I see in C3 stats immediately after the 12.56 visit.
