I have my blocking cookie set to block and it is blocking my visits in the old code project but not SC4.

Make sure you request the blocking cookies fro all projects.

And that you aren't rejecting thrid party cookies from any of Statcounter's subdomains.

I'm having a similar problem, I think. My SC4 blocking cookie keeps getting deleted (or disappearing), which I would blame on my overeager antivirus software, except that my regular StatCounter cookie seems to be sticking around, and it's operating normally. Right now, SC4 is definitely logging my visits, but the blocking cookie page says "Your visits are NOT being logged." So I don't know exactly what's going on there. It's not a big deal, but it muddies up the data.

EDITED TO ADD: the blocking cookie now seems stable for both my regular and test projects. However, in the Exit Links, SC4 is logging my clicks - so if I click on a link on my site while I'm on a blocked computer, that'll show up in the exit links section, even though my visit to the site doesn't appear in the overall numbers or the visitor paths section.

Blocking cookie is properly blocking page hits, but not exit links.
