Still a differance

There still seems to be differences between the current counter and the beta

I have just worked out why there is a difference as I have the beta code on less pages than the standard code. :)

I also have a different count.
regular: 20
beta: 8

I have both scripts on all pages of this project.
Today the beta has failed to log 12 hits from one visitor, who arrived from a google search, from a geographically local IP, at 8 AM CST.
I've also noticed that the beta does not log hits from googlebot.

Previously have also seen a difference in counts that may be time-related, such as
regular: Today 20 Yesterday 103
beta: Today 19 Yesterday 104

Now it appears that beta stopped working altogether about 3 hours ago, 6:24 AM US CST.
No new hits are being registered at all.
