Blocking cookie is properly blocking page hits, but not exit links.
And it's not just cookies. IP Blocking is not honored for exit links.

When I clicked the magnifying glass on one of the exit links, I got this:

Database Query Problem

The ip address 66.73.61.222 is no longer present in your log of the last xxx number of pageloads.

That IP is on my Blocking IP list.

Hello,

We've added the blocking IP support for the exit links traffic too - thank you for testing the new StatCounter system!

I know you get that message if that exit link is associated with a hit which is no longer in the log, as it would have rolled off already.

Haven't noticed them being tied in to blocked IP's. I guess that might also be a case, needing a tweak then.

But you are right. I just saw this too. Yep, a bug :)

The hit didn't get logged because the IP is blocked, but the exit link did - and then it fails due to the Ip being blocked.
