If SC4 can track exit clicks, and if it was listed with the page loads, then if a visitor landed on the page and left via an exit link a minute later, it could report the length of visit as 1 minute, instead of zero as SC3 does now. Of course if they left without hitting an exit link it would be the same as it is now.

Another plus to listing exit links with the page loads, is we will be able to connect the exit link with the visitors movements.

Thanks again for the great service,
Richard

Fewer "zero" length page visits!

Isn't anybody interested? I thought this would be easy to implement, providing even more comprehensive info.

Oh somebody please comment. :(

Agree!

In fact, rather than "it could report the length of visit as 1 minute, instead of zero as SC3 does now.", why not report the actual time spent between hitting the entry page and hitting the exit link?

I did a little mock-up of a format some time ago which combines entry and exit links and includes the actual time spent on the page: http://www.hl7.com.au/Docs/SC4-RecentPageLoads.doc
