Anyone else seeing this at all? I have a project that all of a sudden is including my project URLs in the "Recent Came From" which is very odd. Other projects are not doing it.

Are you sure you have entered your website url(s) correctly in the project settings (both www and non-www versions if both are allowed, with trailing slash) and with no blank line after the last entry there? Check for a line feed after the last entry and remove it.

Nope, all is good. I've got it in there both ways and no extra line breaks.

Let me take a look in mine, I've not yet switched.

Aha I'm not seeing that but I'm seeing something else I should not be seeing:

excluding the search engines to find your website

They aren't all excluded, still getting various google tlds as referrers in there.

Try the old interface instead of the beta.

This is fairly recent, it was not always doing it in the new interface. It was working fine way back in the beginning of the beta. My other projects seem to be working too.

Don't know what to say.

Set again your website urls, maybe it forgot them.

I'm experiencing the same problem.
I've been using the beta, and the problem started only yesterday.

Well I never use "Recent Came From" and "Came From" Report in Statcounter, so i donīt know how it was reporting before but, if this info is usefull here it is

My site run under both, with and without the "www"
In my settings I have both URLs, with and without the "www", with final slash and with no spaces after the URL
In my "Came From" Report, I have "Show external links only" checkbox checked

And Iīm still seeing my site without the "www" as a referrer.
No referrer with the "www"

Hope it helps

Yeah, I'd say something's broken.

Yeah, I'd say something's broken.

OK, here is a way to fix it, while SC guys fix de the "Website Adresses" box in the new interface.

-Switch to Old StatCounter Interface
-Goto to Edit Project Settings
-There, the adresses box is named "Website URL"
-Write your site adresses (Final trailing slash, clear empty spaces after the URLs, add both with and without the" www")
-Save Settings
-Switch to New StatCounter Interface

It will now exclude all your domain URLs from the refferer list
But, everytime you save your settings from the new SC interface, the problem will come up again and you will be forced to switch again to the old SC interface in order to save your project settings again from there.

There must be a problem with the new "Website Adresses" box in the new interface since itīs able to read only the first line of the box. You can check this by adding your site with and without the "www" in different order, and youīll see that only the first line is later excluded in "Came From" report. If you complete the box with the "www" option in the first line, it will only exclude "www.yoursite". If you complete the box without the "www" it will exclude the one without it from your refferers.

Note that if later you change another of your project settings from the new interface and Save it from there, no matter if you havenīt edited the "Website adresses" box, the problem will come back again so until itīs fixed you should save your project settings from the old interface.

Anyway, looks like it will be easy to fix by SC guys ...or not

Now, changing the subject but on the same line, Popular Pages Report
(I never use it but here is what i saw when checking it today)

When you use the "Remove Project URLs" remove only parts of the URLīs, and it does it in a funny way. As I said, I never use this report so i donīt know how it looked before but I would say that the "WebSite Adress" box is affecting this report in a rare way. Something doesnīt look wright when checking and unchecking that checkbox.

cheers

You da man. That did indeed fix it. I sent an email to the beta team with a link to this thread.

Fixed about 24 hours ago!

If you update the URLS to be excluded now, no "space" will be added - that's what was causing all the problems.

Let us know if you've any more issues!
