Hi all
I might have used the feedback tab for this but here we can see if its only me or if other users agree or maybe nobody cares.
When we click on the magnifying glass at any instance to see Visitorīs details, the first thing that can be seen is the big blue map with the red spot "near" the visitorīs location.
Now, the important information in that report is whatīs below the map. That map is not giving any information really, we can read the country and the city in the report, and actually in that map is not even possible to distinguish countries when the visitor is from central europe. The map is big enough to force you to scroll to find what youīre looking for but small to be usefull at all.
Anyway, if we want to have a "visual geo-report" we still have "Recent Visitors Map" with its Full Size Satellite and Hybrid options, and with those lovely red baloons, that when you click on them, they open those other more lovely baloons so full of usefull and lovely info.
So having this and, knowing that StatCounter wants to keep a tidy, Irish style and fast interface with, and only with, just what itīs needed and usefull, avoiding to fullfill the site with 5000 unusefull reports and stats, wouldnīt be a good idea after all these years of duty, to retire the small map from the visitor details or at least moving it below the "details" that we are looking for in the first place??
Or maybe the rest of you find that map usefull and is the first thing you want to see when you drill down on a visit. If this is the case or else, then I will be happy with the map where it is
So my question was, does anybody need that map?
cheers
