Hello,

First, I would like to congratulate StatCounter on its successful re-design - I have used many different counter sites in the past and this is the only one that has been able to remain (so far) compatible with lower browsers (i.e. mobile / msntv / screenreader, etc) There are some minor Login cookie issues I'm still encountering, but it's nothing serious.

While everything else seems to be present on the beta site, my only question is - Where is the feature that lets you 'Magnify User' on the 'Recent Visitor Activity' page?

Thank you

You don't see the 'magnifying glass' next to each visitor? It looks the same on all stats where you can magnify to the whole info about a visit.

BTW, you can use the superb Visitor path stats to list multiple paths on one page!

No, I don't see the 'magnifying glass' on the beta version. I do see it on the 'old' statcounter, however. I've been with Statcounter for 5 years, so I hope the beta version can be made 100% compatible with my lower browser, like the old version...

Well, the magnifying glass on the old layout is a "normal" gif image. On the new beta layout it's different looking png image displayed from the CSS as a background image.

The change is probably made to make the coding "simpler" and save some bytes on the pages.
But I can't see why that change would not work on all browsers used this days? What do you mean with your "lower browser"? What kind of browser and version is that?

Ah, yes, that CSS stuff doesn't show up too well on lower browsers (or internet devices that do not have a harddrive, such as mobile phones).

I am using WebTV Plus (a.k.a. MSNTV), client version 2.9.1.

If that one tiny little 'magnifying glass' issue could be resolved for the beta version of Statcounter, to be 'universally friendly' with all browsers, it would be great, 'cuz everything else seems to be working fine :)

Well, the developers at Statcounter may try to find a solution to it. But at least there is also a text link to the left of the image on some of the stats. Adding the same to all stats may be the only solution?

See if there is a setting to block background images. I'd bet a nickel there is... and it's on.

Go to this page (http://www.coincommunity.com/us_half_dollars/walking_liberty.asp) and look at the blue and red headings. Are they purdy gradients or a solid color?

I see some gradient in the mini tab headings on that page, the background is completely gray.

Statcounter could just use the old version 'gif' images for the 'magnifying glass'. That'd solve the problem. Oh well, we'll see...

The magnifying glass issue should be fixed now. Please let me know if it is working ok for you now.
