Has been using statcounter for a little over 4 years now on Joomla 1.5. I was receiving around 1300 daily hits. Now the 1300 is more like 2 daily hits. I haven't touch anything in my settings. I recently went over 1 million views and thought maybe statcounter disabled my account for not purchasing a paid plan. I started up a new account and still the same. I'm getting no stats! I wish Statcounter will steal Google Analytics system of notifying you when code is disrupted/disabled
There is no Statcounter code on the site gave the url to.
I don't know anything about Joomla, but I have learned from other threads on thos forum that inserting the code works on some (older?) templates and is harder or not works at all on others.
Sorry, I can't help you more. I guess it is about how the templates are done, it's the same with some templates for other blog systems.
I guess only somebody on Joomla and the template makers can give advice.

I have no Joomla experience, but the problem might be that you had inserted the Statcounter code in a part of the template which was replaced by the version 1.5 upgrade. You'll probably have to update the template again.
