Resetting The Stats.

Hello.
I like the new design , however, one comment: Previously in the tools menu one was able to either reset the counter to Zero, or change the number back to lets say one, or ten etc..... Now it can only reset the counter to zero. Is there a way to reset the hits numbers without going way back to zero? Thanks!

Assuming you have a visible counter on your page(s)


Go to your PROJECTS page.
Click the wrench/spanner icon beside your project name.
Click "Customize Counter"
Click the tab for "statistic type" (only visible if you're using a visible counter!)
Enter the figures for current pageloads and/or visitors

Thanks Arne. I tried that.It did not work.... It only works when I switch back to the old Statcounter, otherwise I just get options to reset the counter colors,buttons, etc. Thanks.

I don't understand, it works very well for me and nobody else has reported about it, at least not on the forum?

But if it isn't working for you I guess the best you can do is to contact support, from the form within your account.
They can take a look at it, to see what may be wrong.

Are you CERTAIN you followed Step4 above? In the STATISTIC TYPE tab, you can change the pageloads/visits numbers.

Maybe I should have also asked if adsong pushed the "Apply Changes" button to save the changes, if the option was found? Sometimes it's easy to forget to do that, even for me. ;)

BTW, "Apply Changes" may not be fully understand by all users, especially if English is not the native language. I would prefer the use of "Save Changes". ;)
