Default List of Labeled IPs

I think it would be handy to have a list of labeled IPs

I know I've got labeled IPs and I would like to see the last time so & so visited, and what pages, but I don't have a record and I don't remember.

If I had a list of labeled IPs in the Look Up IP, I could select it and review their visits.

Hi Richard,

You actually can access a list of IP labels at the moment.

Go to Recent Visitor Activity and click Label IP Address beside any IP. On the next page you will see a button for "View All Labels".

I agree though - it would be better to make this page more obvious. Noted!

Hi Jen

I was thinking of after clicking say, Visitor Paths (my favorite), I would see the View all labels at the top, next to Adjust Log. I could click it and see a list of labels, each one clickable. I could click one and it would display the Visitor Path of that label if still in the log. If not a message saying no recent record in log, or some such.

I could use this to see when the last time my clients visited and what they did. It would just save a few steps like copy & pasting the IP.

Thanks

Gotcha!

Completely missed what you were getting at in the first post - sorry.

Noted. With your idea we could definitely be making better use of the label IP function.

As labels can be set within one or several individual projects only or across all projects at once, how would that work? Which visitor path do you want to see - within the currently displayed project or an aggregate across all other projects where that same IP label is used?

You could combine the two. I'm working on creating a tool that gets the labels per project, cross references this against IIS log files and generates a google chart from it, might that be of use to you?
