Unknown Country/State/City/ISP

I just checked stats for my website and 30% visitors were from unknown country


I looked up their IPs on http://www.ip2location.com/ and most of them were from USA, UK, Germany, Poland and Taiwan.

I think IPs database on StatCounter needs an update.

That's a very high percentage.

Might it be all those hits were from the same ISP with several IP's in the same Ip block which is unmapped to a country?

IP2LOCATION data need not be accurate and up-to-date either. None of the geo-databases ever is.
