Default Real time reporting?

It appears it's not, not a problem for our needs. Question, what's the time lapse? That is, what time before NOW that a website traffic would be included in the statecounter report?

Thanks for your time.

It is usually "real time", meaning a page load would show in the stats within a few seconds only, even if it is immediately recorded in the database.
Just tested and that's what it is for me anyway.

Of course you have to reload the page (e.g. the "Recent Pageload Activity" page) if you have it open to see the new page load.

But sometimes there is a lag in the server communication that make everything a little bit slower, e.g. on times with high traffic.

Yes, it is possible, you have two options:

1. Below the text field where you write your post, in "Additional Options" you have the "Attach Files" and with the "Manage Attachments" you can upload from your computer or from an url.

This will automatically add a link to the file you have uploaded.

2. The second option is to upload the image to your web server or any other place on the net. Then you add a link to it in the post.

An image can be embedded to the post with this option.
Of course, the first option is preferred if the image is large (in pixels and/or kilobytes).

Thanks. Was pretty mad... couldn't think on my own... something seems very WRONG here.
see the inserted screen shot for the web states for our web site. Also, the download data (most critical to us) is totally inaccurate, for instance, for today, it's 2 (recording the same instance as 2) while I know for a fact this should be counted as 1 and there are other people who've clicked on the [Download] button and they've told me so. I begin to wonder if I've wasted time in the past several days or because of the beta issue...

That's the graph for the summary data for the last 7 days, doesn't tell me anything about what your problem is.

You are referring to the "Downloads" and "Download Activity" detailed stats I assume. But have you checked that you don't have any Download links below the counter code on the page(s)?
If you have, clicks on them are not logged since the code must be below those links. If the code is okay and all links above the code, I'll guess the best option is to open a support ticket so the Statcounter staff can have a look what may be wrong.

You have not provided a link to your site, so I can't check my self if everything is as it should be.

The beta has nothing to do with this, since it is mainly a new design only, plus a couple of new features that is not found on the "old" design.

Anyway, from the beta you can still switch to the old design and check the stats from there if you like. Just use the "tab" on the far right of the browser window, or from the "Old StatCounter" link in the bottom of the new pages.

Download refers to the [Download] button click on the Download page,

Yesterday, about 9AM I received the following email from your company and immediately complied accordingly, (btw, I do not understand why the individual won't include his/her last name, mine is Chunshen Li, I often go by, Don Li)

The attached screen capture being displayed here is too tiny, very difficult to read (to get the point across), I wonder if you can expand it when a user clicks it.

It looks like it should work, in my opinion. The code is okay and on the right place. I started a download but cancel it, so I don't know if it get logged?

The company has a familiar and friendly environment that they like to have also with their members/costumers, where titles and last names are not important.

Take contact with Tarak again and ask him to check in to your stats and look for what may be wrong with the downloads stats. That is, if you still believe something is wrong.

BTW, I edited your links to not clickable, and also deleted your email address to save you from spammers.

Is it not the same size as you uploaded? You can for sure upload a bigger image than that. When users clicks on the link they will see the full size, what ever size is uploaded.

ok, what you said seems sensible, which I appreciate.

Question, what does the field named "Entries" denote? for instance, the value of 110 as
in the following example, which I test clicked myself this morning and cancel?

11 Aug 09:12:24 AM 'http://www.knowledgenotebook.com/download/KnowledgeNoteBook_g2v4_s.exe' 110
11 Aug 09:12:24 AM 'http://www.knowledgenotebook.com/download/KnowledgeNoteBook_g2v4_s.exe' 110

Communication seems productive now...

P.S. Please do not edit this note just for the sake of originality.
